This is exactly what I'm dealing with right now, evaluating what I do, why, how it makes me feel, what I need to change or drop, etc.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18191610587849166747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-12193948646400412642016-04-24T12:17:36.164-07:002016-04-24T12:17:36.164-07:00I've found recently that when I am having a re...I've found recently that when I am having a real "head in the sand" moment not knowing how to deal with some knotty decision that writing down all the options (however daffy) without judgement somehow helps in moving toward resolution. This feels a bit the same, but more long term.
And part of my "issue" is feeling out of control. I like the feeling of slowly moving towards resolution. Marie Kondo I am sure is relevant here!!

Midlifecrisishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00480083841595444048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-58258791644823279342016-04-24T08:09:25.566-07:002016-04-24T08:09:25.566-07:00'Tidier house...' And the procrastination that leads to not getting out of the house on time.....Are we related!?

Like the idea of writing down EVERY single thing in a coming day, rather than just the two or three to-do's. Could lead to some interesting thoughts/revelations, I'm sure.
Northwoman1996https://www.blogger.com/profile/09855277712359787495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-66886341445350349152016-04-24T08:01:30.140-07:002016-04-24T08:01:30.140-07:00This is so helpful. But I think this could apply to other behaviour as well as the addiction stuff - never being able to get out of the house on time. I started my list this morning and am adding to it through the day. I'm going to keep it up for at least a week to identify patterns and to give me a sense of structure. I feel much more positive doing something (writing the lists etc) than stopping myself doing something. Thankyou.Midlifecrisishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00480083841595444048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-58554879618616579982016-04-24T05:28:44.187-07:002016-04-24T05:28:44.187-07:00I am going to church in an effort to add other rat...I am going to church in an effort to add other rats to my rat park. Isn't it amazing what can happen when you send a blog out in the universe? I happen to know it's Compassion International's day of adopting, so I will do that too. One good turn deserves another. ; )
-- Finding a Sober Rat MiracleFinding a Sober Miraclehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15269753460064037075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-83886855633029517992016-04-24T05:26:35.516-07:002016-04-24T05:26:35.516-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Finding a Sober Miraclehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15269753460064037075noreply@blogger.com
