The thing had turned to liquid by the time I got to it. He kindly stood in the garden and laughed at me retching while disposing of the soggy sod. Happy days to have the ole sense of smell return!
The Antipodean Snouthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02397213089932628400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-20505076854883130902020-07-26T10:44:10.991-07:002020-07-26T10:44:10.991-07:00Thanks for sharing. Never liked it, but it helped pass the time. Drank in the am to sleep through morning. Drank at bedtime to sleep at night. I've stopped now for 5 days with no real issue other than my taste buds seemed to have disappeared over those two months. How long will it be before they come back. I'm a chef and it's really bothering me. Not only have I lost some weight, but I'm sleeping better and (weirdly) my sense of smell is returning and improving. I have also discovered the reasonable delights of non alcoholic beer! I now have to decide whether to continue without alcohol...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-41971554888747050202015-09-10T14:24:31.449-07:002015-09-10T14:24:31.449-07:00This is very interesting bc I have noticed I am lo...This is very interesting bc I have noticed I am losing my sense of smell but thought it was the nose spray I was using (I quit that a year ago). But maybe there's more to it. Never thought it might have to do with alcohol consumption. 3KKatzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02900553940878022590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763877266715908242.post-52573603797600129632015-09-08T12:58:10.941-07:002015-09-08T12:58:10.941-07:00I used to eat way too much salt but hardly use it ...I used to eat way too much salt but hardly use it now. Of course, I had to circle around it a couple of times and make sure it was't going to make any sudden moves once I grabbed hold of it with my plastic bag covered hands, because then there would have been a lot larger stinking carcass to clear out of the house-mine. Yes, I hate mice, but last year I had a bat in the house-oh the joy of living in a forest-and I would have taken a dozen scurrying mice over that one flapping and swooping nightmarish creature. I went to bed every night worrying I would wake up with it caught in my hair or feasting on my neck. I wonder what Feng Shui has to say about bats in the rafters of a house.
P.S. The smell will eventually fade. Eventually.Kary Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12674442468925628974noreply@blogger.com
