Try my remedy for sugar cravings: take handful of frozen fruits (raspberries, strawberries, blackberries) and a few spoons of greek yoghurt and stick it all in a liquidizer or magimix until smooth. It makes an amazing frozen yoghurt full of vitamins and good protein with no added sugar. If you want to be really healthy then sprinkle with chia seeds. I'm going to try mindfu...Agree, beautiful post. I'm going to try mindfulness, but I'm not sure how to start! I'm between jobs at the moment, so the days can be rather long. Mindfulness doesn't sound especially pleasant during these long days that I'd prefer to pass more quickly than they do. In fact, it's due to my recent unemployment (1st time in my life) that wine o'clock was getting earlier and earlier, and I realized I was heading down an unsavory path.<br /><br />I know this is the perfect opportunity to do things I've always wanted to: take up tennis, read more, knit more, run more, etc, but I'm feeling paralyzed by apathy, which is making staying away from the bottle rather difficult.<br /><br />Your blog is a huge source of support. For me this is day 8 my eyes are most definitely brighter and skin more dewy sadly no weight loss yet but that might be from the huge sugar cravings around 7pm ( an hour past the previous wine o'clock !!)
